During this period he has Developed in excess of 500 million dollars in commercial real estate developments. In the late 1980’s, Mr. Ortiz put small ventures together in order to Acquire Real Estate Owned Properties (R.E.O.s) from Financial Institutions, Renovate or finish developing the Properties and then sell them for a substantial profit. In the early 1990’s, Mr. Ortiz obtained a Real Estate Brokerage License and headed the Commercial Real Estate Department for a large South Florida firm that specialized in helping investors from South America invest in the U.S.A. In July 1997, Mr. Ortiz formed his own Real Estate Investment Firm, Global Group International, Inc in order to help invest the enormous amount of capital that wealthy families from South America were bringing into the United States because of the deteriorating conditions in their respective countries.

Today Mr. Ortiz has an impressive network of High Net Worth, Sophisticated Real Estate investors from Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela and the United States. The strength of these investors have allowed the company to purchase Prime Commercial Properties in “The path of progress” at an undervalued bulk price that assures a significant return from the very beginning. Development projects like Intercontinental Professional Center, Global Commerce Center, Weston Medical and Professional Campus and The Shoppes of Heron Lakes have all provided extraordinary profits.

Mr. Ortiz attended Florida International University and Majored in Finance with a Minor in International Business. He holds the prestigious designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). Out of 650,000 real estate brokers in the U.S. less than 3% hold this Commercial Real Estate Certification.
